Problem Note 43114: An error might occur when you use SAS® Management Console to change the association of one metadata object to another
When you use SAS Management Console to change the association of one metadata object to another, the following error might occur:
This problem occurs when you attempt to change an association that exists between two objects in two different repositories. The deletion of the existing association and the addition of the new association are both performed incorrectly. As a result, no association changes occur.
Example
- There is a database library that is defined in a Custom metadata repository.
- There is a database server that is associated with the database library. The server is defined in the Foundation metadata repository.
- An attempt to change the database server that is associated with the library fails and returns the message that is shown above.
- The error occurs whether the database server to which you want to associate the library is in the Foundation repository, or in a Custom
repository.
There is no circumvention for this problem.
